The beginnings: Meeting a real need
At the very start of this adventure, Jean Salvador, Property Manager, and Dany Losier, Real Estate Software Implementation and Optimization Specialist, observed a lack of supply of electronic rental payments and condominium fees. As a property manager, Jean Salvador regularly experienced this difficulty at the beginning of each month, when he had to collect thousands of cheques from condo owners or tenants of residential or commercial buildings. So he teamed up with Dany Losier, a long-time industry friend, to design a computerized payment solution called Otonom Solution whose initial objective was to collect real estate charges.
